It’s holiday time! This time of year we’re all tempted (even me) to indulge and eat too many things that taste good but leave us feeling bad. Often we promise ourselves to begin a clean eating plan or diet right after the holidays.
It is not easy to maintain the commitment you have to self-care and nourishing foods while travelling- in fact it’s very challenging! There is limited convenience in terms of access to healthy food or refrigeration and there are so many temptations with food and drink.
Travel is a privilege. Not in the sense that it is very expensive to travel by plane or even by car, but in the sense that it can be very difficult to do for people with health challenges. The challenge can exist for a myriad of issues including muscular-skeletal issues, pregnancy, digestive or autoimmune conditions; virtually any condition that requires day-to-day attention, makes travel difficult.
